Tip – Keep The Bar Close To Your Body On Deadlifts (Video)

Reading Time: < 1 minute

If you want a stronger and safer deadlift be sure to keep the bar as close to your body as possible.

I hear all the time that women hurt their back while deadlifting.  A big reason for this is that the bar tends to get away from you and be too far in front when deadlifting.

To be stronger and safer be sure to keep the bar as close to your body and to the hips as you finish the lift.

The bar should come close to the shins and close to the thighs and finish close to the hips.

The closer the bar is to you the stronger and safer your deadlift will be.

Watch this video where I explain this in more detail.
