When most women squat they think about using their quads primarily and sometimes they use their glutes.
However if you really want to maximize your squat strength and get results in building muscle you need to learn to use all of the muscles in your legs, the hamstrings are one of the most neglected muscle groups to train.
In this video I explain how to use your hamstrings when squatting. This is known as “Hip Drive”.
If you have ever had a back issue or you are a tall lifter this cue seems to work very well.
