The military press and push press are both overhead bar pressing exercises.
While similar they are also very different.

Military Press Key Points:
- Uses no leg drive
- The legs are locked
- The core is tight
- The glutes are tight
- The only thing working is the upper body
Push Press Key Points:
- Uses leg drive (known as the dip & drive)
- The legs move and lock at the top
- The core is tight
- The glutes are tight
- The whole body is being used. A dip is initiated at the hips and legs.
