I LOVE fruit, but when it comes to losing fat I think fruit can be eaten but it should be kept somewhat low.
Now don’t get me wrong, I think fruit is fine, BUT if you want to maximize fat loss something I look to reduce is sugar. With most fruits sugar can creep up pretty fast.
If you are going to eat fruit the best time is post workout.
Pretty much before every workout I eat an apple and post workout I have a banana, protein shake and mixed berries.
So if your goal is fat loss at first keep the fruits low for the most part.
There are some exceptions and two of them are Watermelon & Strawberries.
A pound of watermelon only has 140 calories and a pound of strawberries only has 150 calories.
To me these are “Free Foods” and you can pretty much eat as much of them as you want.
Food is meant to be enjoyed and water melons and strawberries fruits are amazing.
