Tip: When Lifting Don’t Rush Your Set Up

The set up is part of the lift and sets the stage for the lift.

Make sure that you take your time with your set up.

Find a set up that feels comfortable and strong for you.

Once you develop a solid set up the goal is to do that same set up every single time.

Even with an empty bar for the warm up you want to approach it with the same set up.

Often times I see people that treat their light weights like they are just that.

Always remember treat your light weights like they are heavy weights.

Practice your set up.

Dial it in.

Take your time.

Don’t rush.

Try to make it perfect.

A strong set up sets up a STRONG lift, so be sure to never rush your set up.
