One of the most important aspects of the deadlift is learning to sit back.
By sitting back you set up for a proper technique and you learn to engage the hips, glutes and hamstrings.
This will make you stronger and safer when doing a deadlift.
A lot of people struggle with learning to sit back. A simple fix is using a multi heigh box and learning to sit back until you touch the box and then focus on pushing away the ground and pushing the hips into the bar.

Adjust the height of the box and find the perfect height for you.
This will create a external cue and teach proper technique for sitting back.
Give it a try and I hope it helps you.
